Why a name of Emmaus Road?
Our practice is to welcome to the table everyone who confesses faith in Jesus Christ. No matter what denomination or Christian tradition, you are invited to celebrate with us - if you are a follower of Jesus. Sometimes parents will choose to have their children wait until after baptism before they participate in communion. This is a family decision, which we honor.

We invite individuals to dip the bread into the cup (which is called “intinction”). We offer both wine and unfermented grape juice for you to choose. Sometimes people decline communion because they do not “feel worthy.” We want to remind you that none of us is ever worthy of the grace of God. God's grace is always a gift to the undeserving. That is the Good News! We encourage you to consider your desire to follow Christ, repent of your sin, and use the Lord's Table as an opportunity to return to Jesus.
